WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY?

Happiness to me isn’t what the multitude thinks it is, it’s the exact opposite if I may put it that way. I’ve come to discover that empathy, honest conversations and doing things I love to do makes me happy.

Empathy means understanding, sharing and entering into someone else’s feelings. I love to empathize with people, it makes me happy.

Whenever I understand or share the feelings of my family, friends, people around me, might even be a strange fellow, I don’t mind at all; I feel awkwardly happy. Getting to know that this is how this person feels and sharing in that feeling as well, irrespective of the kind or type of emotion he or she is experiencing, be it negative or positive, I’d gladly share it with you; letting you know you are  not alone in your saddest or joyous moment.

I feel a lot happier whenever I get to have an honest conversation with a fellow human. Knowing there was transparency and trust in just few minutes of sharing each other’s thoughts and ideas makes me supper happy.

And of course doing what I love to do makes me happy, but not as happy as an honest conversation or empathizing with people. Reading novels and books, watching movies and listening to music from my favorite artists are the other activities that makes me happy too.
